Grape Variety: Nebbiolo 100%

Vineyards: located in the municipality of Monforte d’Alba.

Vineyard Altitude: between 380 m above sea level and 430 m above sea level

Soil composition: Clay-limestone

Vineyard Exposition: South-west

Training method: Classical Guyot

Max. Production/ha: 8000 kg of grapes per hectare

Vinification method: VThe grapes are pressed in a soft way and the must is separated from the skins after 6-8 hours. The must starts the alcoholic fermentation which takes place at 18°C and lasts about 15 days. At the end of the fermentation the wine is racked. The wine does not undergo malolactic fermentation.

Aging: The aging lasts 3-5 months months in stainless steel tanks. The wine is bottled in late winter.

Organoleptic tasting notes: This wine has a mellow rose color. Its aroma is floral, with interesting notes of rose and violet. The mouthfeel is full, fresh and salty, with a fragrant and embracing finish.

Alcohol content: 12.5% to 13.5% depending on the year.

Serve at 8° -10 °C.

Serving suggestions: This wine goes well with tasty appetizers, seafood, pizza, and as an aperitif.

Longevity: 3 to 5 years
