Grape variety: Mix of the company’s autochthonous grapes.

Vineyards:  located in the municipality of Monforte D'Alba.

Soil composition: Clay-calcareous

Max production / hectare: 70 quintals per hectare

Vinification: The vinification is carried in steel  tanks with the submerged cap system and the maceration lasts from 8 to 10 days. Single grapes are vinified and aged separately. The fermentation temperature is controlled and maintained around 27 ° -30 °  C. The  malolactic fermentation takes place at the end alcoholic fermentation and when the racking is completed.

Aging: Aging lasts 24 months in small barrels of  French oak. Then the three wines are assembled and after a few days of stainless steel tanks they are bottled. The wine rest some more months in the bottle before they are commercialized.

Tasting notes: full bodied, smooth and powerful wine. The colour is deep ruby, the nose stand out sweet notes of fruit mature, fruit in alcohol and sweet spices. On the palate is fat and powerful with a consistent persistence.

Alcohol: from 13% to 14% depending on the year.

Serving suggestions: goes well with meat dishes but also with tasty first dishes.

Longevity: 7 to 10 years
